Free cuddle mod for Sims 4
Bed Cuddle Mod is a free-to-use mod that adds a small animation sequence for the simulation game The Sims 4. Bed Cuddle Mod can be considered a minor quality of life (QoL) improvement mod, instead of a full conversion mod. It is characterized by the small addition it introduces, which is cuddling in this case. Once two sims go to bed together, there is this option. It’s fascinating to watch in itself because the expressions and animations between the characters are matched and timed correctly, sometimes for comedic effect.
Technically speaking, this small update is executed flawlessly. As mentioned, the animation and timing are on point, although you might want to zoom in to appreciate this small interaction better. It even works with other updates, mods, and expansion packs for the game. For example, the Werewolf Temperament is usually a roadblock for certain interaction mods, but not for this one.
The mod is also available in two variants: the regular variant and the No Super Speed, which disables super speed 3 when sleeping. As a small mod, it comes in a small file size of less than 500 KB. Also, while it works well with most mods, it still encounters conflict with other third-party add-ons. Doing so causes the animation to fail or worse, causes the game to crash.
